What is FieldCFO SMS?

FieldCFO is an AI receptionist for field service businesses. When you sign up and provide your phone number, you can opt in to receive text messages related to calls the receptionist answers on your behalf, such as voicemail transcripts, appointment confirmations, and notifications about missed or transferred calls.

Opt-In Consent

By providing your phone number during FieldCFO account creation and leaving the SMS notifications checkbox enabled, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from FieldCFO at the phone number provided. The SMS checkbox is optional at signup and can be toggled later from your notification settings. Message frequency varies based on call volume and your notification preferences. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

You may customize which messages you receive at any time from your account settings in the FieldCFO portal, or by replying to any message with the keywords described below.

Message Types

• Voicemail Transcripts: a text copy of each voicemail the receptionist takes for you, with caller name and callback number.
• Appointment Confirmations: a notification when the receptionist books a job into your calendar, including service type, time, and address.
• Emergency Transfer Alerts: a heads up text when an urgent call is transferred to your cell, so you know why the phone is ringing.
• Missed Call Summaries: a recap of any call the receptionist could not fully resolve, with the reason and a suggested follow up.
• Account Notifications: occasional service messages about your FieldCFO account, such as trial status, billing, or outages.

If you add the optional AI CFO product, you may additionally receive financial alerts such as overdue invoice notifications or the weekly Monday briefing. These are gated behind a separate opt in and are disabled by default.

Opt-Out

You can opt out of all SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. You can also disable specific notification types from your account settings at field-cfo.com. To re-subscribe after opting out, reply START.
