Terms of Service

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

By creating an account, you confirm that you are authorized to receive calls at the business phone number we assign or port, and, if you add the AI CFO product, that you are authorized to grant us read only access to the QuickBooks account you connect.

The AI Receptionist includes a 14 day free trial. No credit card is required to start. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription at the then current rate. The current rate is $199 per month and includes 500 answered minutes. Usage above 500 minutes is billed at $0.15 per additional minute. Phone number rental is included in the subscription.

The AI CFO add on, when available, is billed at the then current add on rate alongside your Receptionist subscription. Pricing for add ons is disclosed before you enable them.

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

When you activate the AI Receptionist, we route your inbound calls to an AI voice agent configured with your business hours, services, and greeting. Calls are answered by the AI, not by a human operator. If the caller asks, the agent will disclose that it is an AI assistant.

Calls are recorded and transcribed so that you can review them in your FieldCFO account and receive accurate transcripts by text or email. Recordings are stored in a private, encrypted bucket and are only accessible to you and to FieldCFO personnel who need access to operate and support the Service.

You are responsible for any state or jurisdiction specific notice requirements that apply to call recording in your market. Our default greeting includes a notice that the call may be recorded for quality purposes; you can customize the greeting but should not remove the recording notice if your jurisdiction requires it.

By opting in during signup or in your notification settings, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from FieldCFO at the phone number on file. Typical messages include voicemail transcripts, appointment confirmations, emergency transfer alerts, missed call summaries, and account notices. If you also add AI CFO, you may receive financial alerts such as overdue invoice notifications or the weekly briefing.

SMS opt in is optional and is not a condition of purchase. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by turning off SMS in your notification settings. Reply HELP for help. Reply START to re-subscribe after opting out.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Route calls to the Service in violation of the TCPA, the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule, or any other applicable telemarketing or consumer protection law
• Configure the AI agent to impersonate a government agency, licensed professional, or other third party
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to transmit harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive communications
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

If you use AI CFO, FieldCFO can draft collection emails for overdue invoices on your behalf. These drafts are generated by AI and presented to you for review before sending. You are solely responsible for reviewing, approving, and sending any collection email. By clicking Send, you authorize FieldCFO to deliver that specific email on your behalf.

You are responsible for ensuring that collection communications comply with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act where relevant.

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to answer phone calls, generate message summaries, draft emails, and generate financial narratives. While we strive for accuracy, AI generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies.

All financial calculations used by AI CFO (metrics, anomaly detection scores, cash flow projections) are performed by deterministic algorithms. AI is used only for generating human readable text based on those calculations.

FieldCFO does not provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. The insights and recommendations provided are informational tools. You should consult qualified professionals for financial or legal decisions.

If you enable AI CFO, FieldCFO accesses your QuickBooks Online data in read only mode through Intuit's official OAuth API. We never modify, create, or delete any records in your QuickBooks account.

You can revoke our access to your QuickBooks account at any time through your Intuit account settings or through the FieldCFO dashboard. Revoking access will stop data syncing and disable features that depend on current financial data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldCFO and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

FieldCFO is not responsible for business decisions made based on information surfaced by the Service, including calls handled by the AI agent, financial projections, or AI drafted communications.

You may cancel your account at any time from the FieldCFO dashboard or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days to allow for reactivation, after which it will be permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law.
